Q-What day(s) does the Steel Horse Saloon normally book bands for?
A-Normally we book bands to play on Saturday afternoon's and/or evening. We generally book events March-November on the Outdoor Main Stage and year round in the bar.
Q-Does the Steel Horse Saloon Advertise the bands that will be playing?
A-Yes we do. We always advertise performing bands that we have contracted with in our bar, on our website and on our Facebook fan Page. We also depending on the event may advertise the band in print publications, flyers and on radio spots.
Q-Can we as the band advertise in our media sources, web pages, social networking pages, etc. that we are playing at the Steel Horse?
A-Absolutely you can. We will even allow you in most cases to use our logo with our prior permission.
Q-Do you provide security for the event?
A-Yes. In addition if it is a bigger event or a paid event we provide sworn law enforcement officers as well.
Q-Does the Steel Horse saloon provide PA Sound equipment and/or a sound engineer for bands performing on the Main Stage?
A-We can, however we always prefer that the band provide their own sound and engineer if at all possible.
Q-What is the capacity of the Motorcycle Park where the Main Stage is located?
A-It is accepted that the grounds will hold upwards of 4,000 people. An average would probably be 1,500-2,000 people.
Q-Do your dates book fast?
A-YES! Because of the type and size venue that we have we receive calls daily from bands wanting to perform for us. In addition we are therefore very picky about which bands we book and always require access to demos and references from the band prior to us agreeing to terms.
Q-May people bring their own alcoholic beverages or coolers to the park for our show?
A-NO. The Steel Horse Saloon is licensed by the NC ABC Commission and therefore only alcoholic beverages purchased from the Steel Horse are allowed at any time on the property. Also no coolers are ever allowed.
